Hearthstone Launches E-Newsletter
As we approach the New Year, there’s one resolution we are thrilled to check off our list… The launch of the new Hearthstone E-Newsletter! We are very excited to announce that the Hearthstone Newsletter will be sent electronically three to four times per season to all of our owners, renters and guests.
Like your quarterly assessments and Planned Weeks confirmations, the newsletter will be sent to the email address we have for you on file. The purpose of each newsletter will be to keep you informed of important topics happening in and around Hearthstone, including residence and property updates, building maintenance, staff announcements and friendly reminders. The content is geared towards bringing you pertinent resort information in a timely manner, as well as general information about the McCall area and upcoming events we don’t want you to miss.
Visitors to the Hearthstone Website will also have access to the newsletter. Archived issues will be stored under a new “Newsletter” section on the homepage. Additionally, visitors will have the option to subscribe to the newsletter directly on the website, providing anyone interested in Hearthstone the opportunity to follow the progress of our unique resort and learn more about us.
We invite you to enjoy each edition of the newsletter, and hope you find it a reliable source of information for Hearthstone as well as a helpful resource for your upcoming visit. We look forward to sharing this letter with you all and welcome any suggestions or comments you may have.
Spring Mountain Ranch HouseThe Spring Mountain Ranch House is a valuable amenity for Hearthstone owners and guests and because of this, we feel it is important to contribute to the operation of the Ranch House to ensure that it is maintained to Hearthstone standards. As of November ‘09, Hearthstone is now providing cleaning service to the Ranch House. The cleaning service will take place 1 – 3 times per week and will be accompanied by a daily 30-minute walkthrough to tidy the Ranch House, check on the exercise area, steam room and hot tub, and bring any maintenance issues to the attention of the Spring Mountain Ranch property manager, Accommodation Services.
As you visit Hearthstone and spend time in the Ranch House, please don’t hesitate to provide us with feedback about the appearance or functionality of the facility.
And don’t forget! Hearthstone has on site massage facilities in the Spring Mountain Ranch House. We are happy to book you a massage either on site at the Ranch House or in the comfort of your home.
Please contact Owner Services for rates and upcoming winter specials.
New Faces in Owner ServicesHearthstone is very pleased to welcome two amazing Idaho natives to its team. For those of you who haven’t already stopped by the Owner Services office to meet them, here’s why we are so happy to bring them on board… JamiA Boise native, Jami ventured to Riggins, Idaho in the 7th grade, where she and her mom lived in a town famous for its Salmon River Whitewater Rafting and Steelhead Fishing. Graduating from Salmon River High School in 1995 and returning to Boise to begin new adventures, Jami discovered that her excellent organizational skills and knack for detail made her the perfect Office Manager, something she enjoyed very much and would eventually make her a great fit for Hearthstone Owner Services. In 2000 Jami got married and had a daughter. During this period, Jami experienced some successful moments in the house flipping business, “when it was still good and fun.” But it was always her husband’s dream to move back to his hometown of McCall, and so they did! Together they spend their family time snowmobiling all winter and boating during the summer, which they think makes McCall the perfect home! AlexaOne of the lucky ones who grew up in McCall, Alexa is a world traveler who adores all kinds of outdoor activities. Having graduated from the University of Idaho in 2008 with degrees in Nutrition, Pre-Med and Spanish, Alexa spent time living in Costa Rica and traveling all around Central and South America before settling down back home in McCall. Alexa may be new to the Hearthstone team, but she’s no stranger to life in McCall. Feel free to ask her about some of the great local outdoor spots in McCall or dining suggestions around town. A waitress at Steamers, she’s sure to point you in the right direction and looks forward to getting to know all of the Hearthstone owners!
Holiday Rental StatusThe holidays are just around the corner, and since we still have availability for last minute rentals, now is as good a time as any to book a visit to Hearthstone for Martin Luther King holiday weekend or Winter Carnival! Contact Owner Services at Hearthstone for information regarding rates and specific dates of availability. The holiday season is a wonderful, magical time to spend in the mountains and with a snow pack that lasts well into April, don’t wait to plan your ski vacation for this winter!
Winter Underway in McCallWith storms that can dump several feet of dry, light powder as late as April, and an average snowfall of more than 300 inches a year, we’re heading into another great season of skiing in McCall. This year should be better than ever for a couple reasons. Brundage proudly announced in the pre-season that Engen, a popular intermediate run, had been lengthened to the bottom of Centennial and Bear Chairs, eliminating a traverse across the flats. And if Brundage didn’t have perfect tree lines before, it certainly does now as over 15 acres of terrain have been cleared to enhance off-piste skiing.
Speaking of off-piste, also getting underway at the resort are guided cat skiing tours. With access to over 19,000 acres of ski-able backcountry terrain, trained Brundage Mountain guides will escort you for full day or overnight ski tour adventure. Keep in mind, you don’t have to be an advanced skier for a lift on a cat. Untouched powder makes skiing seem effortless!
Another popular wintertime excursion you won’t want to miss is a trip to the Blue Moon Yurt. Swap your downhill skis for some cross-country skis (or snowshoes) for a one mile guided tour through the majestic Ponderosa State Park to a canvas yurt. Here you’ll be wined and dined by candlelight and a menu that features eclectic new world and ethnic cuisine. Hearthstone Owner Services can assist you with booking a yurt dinner for your upcoming visit. It’s an unforgettable experience you should do at least once during your winter visits to McCall. Many owners have made it a yearly tradition.
